Chris Wilson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chris Wilson (Van Wert, Ohio), who passed away on December 27, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, G. Dale Wilson and Eloise Wilson; his spouse Jody (April); and his daughter Heather Lauren Wilson. He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Houston (Chris) and Mary Ogdahl (Matt); his grandsons, Myles and Levi Ogdahl; his siblings, Martha Balyeat (Louis), Linda Baum and Scott Wilson (Beth); and the mother of his children Kristen Gunsett Winn (Wilson). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home Chapel (722 S Washington St, Van Wert, OH 45891). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Van Wert County Humane Society.
