She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Chivington and Ethel Chivington (Miller); her husband Kenneth L. Dunmire; her daughter Candace Wills; her siblings, Frank, Bill, Chuck Chivington and Ilo Wills; and her son-in-law Tom Tomlinson.

She is survived by: her children, Tammy Tomlinson of Van Wert, Kimberly Wyman (Tom) of Columbus, Sherri Schaadt (Brian) of Van Wert, Kerri Thomas of Van Wert, Jacqueline Dixon of Van Wert, Kenneth L. Dunmire, Jr. (Jan) of Magnolia and Steven Dunmire of Paulding. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Carolyn's memory may be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
