With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Rice (Van Wert, Ohio), who passed away on October 29, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orlin Rakestraw and Lorene Rakestraw; her husband Duane Rice; and her sons, Wayne Rice and Shawn Rice.
She is survived by: her sisters, Virginia Weidinger, Lorna Putman (Gary), Ardis Streeter (Duff) and Neva Lounds (John); her son Greg Rice (Pam); her daughter-in-law Deb Rice; her grandchildren, Jennifer Menze (John), Jill Fromader (Jesse), Jackie Araujo (Luis), Emily Rice, Colt Rice, Athena Rice, David Rice and Jonathan Rice; and her friend Church. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
Preferred memorials may be directed to Greg Rice to be distributed to missions that Carol had a heart to support.
