He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roy Baker and Helen Baker (Balliet); his wife Cheryl Baker (Gribler); his children, Marc Baker (Heather) of Van Wert, Steve Baker (Julie) of Van Wert and Angie Bigham (Ben) of Ohio City; his grandchildren, Brandon, Lexi, Maci, Shae, Brittany, Kyley, Dylan and Tiffany; and his sisters, Betty Burgoon of Haviland and Dorothy Sidle (Larry) of Van Wert. He was also cherished by twelve great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Carlos's memory may be sent to the Liberty Baptist Church.
