He was predeceased by: his parents, George Meeks and Lillian Meeks (Parsons); his former wife Helen Meeks; his wife Barbara Meeks; his son Kevin Meeks; his siblings, Richard Meeks and Eleanor Kennett; and his stepgreat-granddaughter Aubrie Nicole Moore.
He is survived by: his brother Rodney Goodman of Tucson; and his stepchildren, Nicole Fiegel (Ty) of Van Wert and Aaron Gallaway of Van Wert. He is also survived by his four step-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his military and professional accomplishments, Carl was a proud member of the American Legion and the Van Wert Eagles, where he formed lasting friendships and made valuable contributions to his community.
