She was predeceased by: her parents, William McGuire and Ruth McGuire; her children, Adam, Christopher and Renee; and her grandson Jay Lewis.

She is survived by: her siblings, Victoria Ilczyn (Walter) of Itasca, Jane Curry (Ormond) of Algona, Iowa, Thomas McGuire (Mary Pat) of Algona, Steve McGuire (Jodi) of Davenport and Kenneth McGuire of Roanoke, Texas.; her husband Kevin Laing; her sons, Michael Laing of Sunbury and Robert Laing (Rachel) of Van Wert; and her grandchildren, Ava K. Courtney and Gabriel Laing.

In light of COVID-19 and upcoming weather, the family understands that not everyone who wants to can, or should, attend Barb's funeral Mass.
