He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean Rosella Wittung (Lockerby) and Richard "Dale" Baxter; and his stepfather Wallace Merlin Wittung. He is survived by: his children, Zachary Baxter of Convoy, Kyle Baxter (Tiffani) of Van Wert, Raegan Baxter of Cleveland and Reed Baxter of Van Wert; his siblings, Brad Baxter (Gloria) of Convoy, Kim Adams (Randy) of Van Wert and Colette Rhodes (Dean) of Luna Pier, Michigan; his grandchildren, Dylan, Drew, Connor, Blaine and Braeley Baxter; and his great grandchild LeAnna Baxter. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Preferred memorials are to Van Wert County Humane Society or First Baptist Church Missions.
