Billy Proffitt Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billy Proffitt (Van Wert, Ohio), who passed away on August 8, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Clayton Manley and Sarah Elizabeth Proffitt; and his siblings, Glenn Proffitt, Norville Proffitt, Rev. Carl Proffitt, Pauline Clark, Mary Mueller and Edith Walker.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret Louise Campbell; his children, Trena Proffitt Bartz of Van Wert and Bobby Don Proffitt (Becky) of Van Wert; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Anne Wilson (Terry), Preston Proffitt (Mandy) and Jessica Cano (Drew); his great grandchildren, Stephany, Brittney, Isabella, Alexander Wilson, Clayton, J. J. (Aiden) and Raelyn Proffitt; and his great great grandchild Adilynn Grace Wilson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews and great great nieces & nephews.

He repaired carburetors at home until Alzheimers forced him to quit in 2008.
