He is survived by: his daughter Kayla Lynn Thatcher of Van Wert; his grandchildren, Connor Streets and Alice Sowers; his son Travis Neiferd Van (Amanda); his grandson Seth Nieferd; his siblings-in-law, Joyce Thatcher of Convoy and Randy Prince of Spencerville; and his nieces and nephews, Steve Thatcher (Vickie) of Decatur, Michele Miller (Tim) of Fort Wayne, Bill Voirol, Jr. (Heather Grennay) of Defiance, Tracy Voirol of Sherwood and Matthew Foust (Leslie) of Cambridge. He is also survived by numerous great nieces and great nephews and many friends.
