We bid farewell to Archie B. Shrum of Van Wert, Ohio, born in Indiana, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 13, 2024 at the age of 88. Archie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Shrum and Bessie Shrum (Beason); his wife Jacquelyn S. Shrum; and his siblings, John, Chester, Orville, Harold, Floyd, Violet, Grace, Bertha and Wavie.
He is survived by: his children, David E. Shrum (Michelle) of Delaware, Susan L. Heppeard (Randy) of Van Wert and Marilyn A. Tomlinson (James) of Van Wert; and his sisters, Mary Emma, Martha Bell, Anna and Georgia. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Emmanuel Lutheran Church or Community Health Professionals Home Care and Hospice.
