She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene C. Palmer and Edna Palmer Fisher (Tester); her stepfather Ralph Fisher; her daughter Sandra Fabian Figley; her brothers, Gordon, Rodger and Vernon Palmer (Marilyn); and her sons-in-law, Stan Klahn, Rocky McVaigh and Keith Figley.
She is survived by: her children, Frank Hoffman (Barb), Rodger Hoffman (Cathy), Terry Klahn (Jim Miller) and Lori Hoffman-Foltz (Michelle); and her grandchildren, Melissa, Cara, Joe, Josh of Sherry, TJ, Dusty, Kelly, Julie and Katie. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory (722 S Washington St, Van Wert, OH 45891). A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 11:15 AM at the Woodland Cemetery (10968 Woodland Ave, Van Wert, OH 45891).
In lieu of flowers and gifts, Arlene requested memorial donations be directed to the Brumback Library, Van Wert.
