She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian Koesters and Frances Koesters (Geier); her husband Gerald Knapke; her sister-in-law Joyceann Koesters; and her stepdaughter Kelli Knapke.

She is survived by: her in-laws, Pam, Barry Barnard of Columbus, Bob, Lori Schlosser of Tennessee, Teresa, Mike Staas of Dayton and Tami Kercher of Atlanta; her grandchildren, Austin Barnard (Carly), Brianna Schriner (Jason), Candice Schlosser, BJ Schlosser, Kayla Kercher and Karli Kercher; her stepgranddaughter Sonarei Hammond (Chris); her great grandchildren, Minka Schlosser and Kendall Schriner; her stepchildren, Kirk, Laurie Knapke of Fort Myers and Kory Knapke of Los Angeles; and her in-laws, Ken, Bernice Koesters of Coldwater, Harold Koesters of Coldwater and George Post of Indiana.
