He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold M. Barfell and Leota B. Lafferty (Lentz); his wife Ernestine Kay Barfell (Clark); and his grandson Brandon M. Barfell. He is survived by: his children, David Mitchell (Alisha) of Seymour, TN and Brenda Sampson (Matt) of Findlay; his siblings, Eugene Barfell, Edward M. Barfell (Cindy), Paul D. Barfell (Linda), Harold D. Barfell (Kathy), Robert L. Barfell (Rona) and Shirley Smith; and his pet Daisy. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
