He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Ferrier and Susan Ferrier (Hughmanic); his brothers, Norman, John and Robert Ferrier; and his nephew Thaddeus Ferrier.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Rae (Dieckman); his children, Leslie Ferrier Parker of Wooster, Toni Hollopeter (Evan) of Chatham, Charlie Lutz (Ryan) of Medina and Danny Fugate (Tom Johnson); his sisters, Patricia Kiley and Katherine Lester of Huntsville, AL.; his grandchildren, Jamie Perez (Matt) of Mableton, GA, Michael Hollopeter (Nicole) of Kirtland, OH, Sierra Hollopeter (Kyle Timko), Erin Vaidya (Jay) of Cleveland, OH, Bryan Parker of Wooster, OH, Jessica Good Mt (Ian) and Jace Fugate (Stacy Walker); and his great grandchildren, Liam, Beckett, Grace Hollopeter, Camden, Jackson Perez, Nora Timko and Miles Vaidya. He is also survived by his grandchildren.
