Thomas J. Hines Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 18, 2022, at the age of 71, Thomas J. Hines of Utica, Ohio, born in Zanesville, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Leo Hines; and his siblings, Rex, Max, Larry "Buck" Hines and Janie Hines.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Hines (Etling); his sons, David Hines (Theresa), Timothy Hines of Utica and Matthew Hines of Utica; his siblings, Jack Hines (Nina) and Joy Smith (Delbert) of Mt. Perry; his sister-in-law Lou Hines of Newark; his grandson Camden Hines; and also, Roscoe, Zoe and Tilly.
While facing challenges presented by the pandemic, Tom managed to keep spirits high by organizing weekly family takeout lunches and near daily spirited card games of "Shanghai" which was his favorite game.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Faith Mission Homeless Shelter & Services.
