With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Terry A. Mertens (Utica, Ohio), born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on July 1, 2019 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mertens and Katherine Mertens (Schundlemire); his wife Dianne G. Mertens; and his stepparents, LaVerne Mertens and John Hancock.
He is survived by: his children, Teddy Mertens of Johnstown, Kim (Tom Mentz) and Jeannie (Ernie Scott); his grandchildren, Felicia Miller, Katie Mentz Sarah Hite (Brad) and Grant Scott; his great grandchildren, Landen Kimbler, Sophia Taliaferro, Rylee and Finnley Hite; his siblings, Rebecca (Michael Lusk), Susan (Robert Koslowski) and Michael; and his sister-in-law Sharon Mead. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
