She was predeceased by: her parents, Aquiles Mendez and Marie Luisa Mendez (Dib). She is survived by: her husband Ronald D. Hanwell; her children, Jennifer M. Tuttle (Joel) and Ronald David Hanwell (Katie); her grandchildren, Jacob (Caroline), Michael, Kaylee, Isaac, Annie, William, Benjamin, Joseph Tuttle and Jackson Wallace Hanwell; and her siblings, Aquiles Mendez (Elizabeth), Maria Luisa Lau (George), Maria Elena Escobar (Victor), Beatriz Mendez and Mercedes Mendez. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
