It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Robert Armstrong (Utica, Ohio), who passed away on April 5, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Armstrong and Louise Belle Armstrong (Friel); and his brother Thomas Stanley Armstrong. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Lynne Armstrong (Boyling); his sons, Robert Edward (Carla Baughman Armstrong) and Steven Lynn (Keeli Dyer Armstrong); his grandchildren, Lauren Skylar Armstrong, Cameron Xavier Armstrong, Blake Conley (Nikki) and Rhianna Prather; his great grandchildren, Theo, Walter Conley, Caiden and JJ; and his nieces and nephews, Barrak Green (Kindra), Matthew Armstrong (Leah), Danielle Sartin (Dave) and Diane Chester (Dan). He is also survived by eight great nieces and nephews and several cousins.
