It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Winfred Marcum Cornett of Urbana, Ohio, born in Cumberland, Kentucky, who passed away on February 19, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Cornett and Georgia Cornett (Caudill); and his siblings, Arther Cornett, Annette West, Sidney Cornett, Vernell Burton and Fannie Gillespie.
He is survived by: his siblings, Shirley Cornett of Cumberland and Ronnie Cornett of Tennessee; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Mark, Mack Cornett and Sandy Hogan Cornett; his grandchildren, Jessica, Brandy, Ashley, Stephanie and Mack Ryan Cornett; and also Dana Gay Lawson of Florida. He is also survived by his family and friends.
