He was predeceased by: his father William Rule Arnold; his daughter Allison Renee Arnold; his sister Joyce Rosengarten; his grandmother Grace H. Arnold; and his pets, Bonnie Bell and Ladybug.
He is survived by: his wife Georgia Carolyn Arnold of Urbana; his children, Erica Nance (Ron) of Galloway, Douglas M. Arnold (Julie) of Flaherty, Angelia Casey of Springfield, Toni Miller (Scott) of Springfield, Tracie Hill (Jim) of Urbana and Gregg Regula of Concord; his nieces and nephews, Billie Joe Carmack and George Hensley; and his friends, Edward and Rosilynn Miller of Bellefontaine. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
