She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dovell and Ella Mae Hance (Curtis); her husband Marvin Trout; and her siblings, Lisa Bair, Elizabeth Anderson and John Dovell Hance II.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sarah McDaniel (Tim), Kristin Carroll (Charles) and Kim Ertel (Matt); her grandchildren, Zachary Switzer, Emily Switzer, Courtney McClure (Jeremy Morgan), Shelbe Ertel, Korrine King, Mason Carroll, Ally Carroll, Grace McDaniel, Grant McDaniel, Cory McDaniel and Casey McDaniel; her great grandchildren, Colton, Addison, Ella, Haely, Dexter, Mylah and Logan; and her sister Carol Watson (Andy). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
The family prefers memorial donations be made to Barely Used Pets in her honor.
