He was predeceased by: his grandfather Robert Hagie Sr.; his uncle Gene Hagie; his niece Kristin Hagie; his nephew Karsyn Hagie; his great-grandparents, Vic, Reva Batdorf, Treva, Floyd Shaffer, James and Margaret Beaty; and his close friend Fred Markel.
He is survived by: his parents, Joni Hagie (Shaffer) of Urbana and James Hagie; his son Sidney Hagie (Lois Rice); his fiancée Lois Rice of Urbana; his brother Tyler Hagie; his sister-in-law Shawna Cordle of Urbana; his niece Adleigh Hagie; and his grandparents, Rowland, Rita Shaffer and Melanie Hess of Covington. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home to help with final expenses and a fund for his son, Sidney.
