He was predeceased by: his parents, James F. Moffitt and Hazel Moffitt (Bosler); and his brothers, James Moffitt Jr. (Jeannine), Kenneth Moffitt (Patty), Ronnie Moffitt and Rod Moffitt (Margie).
He is survived by: his children, Deb Moffitt-Shockey and Dale Moffitt (Michelle); his grandchildren, Tyler Shockey (Christina), Morgan Moffitt, Kaylee Moffitt (Tyler Weekley), Josh Newman (Sarah) and Mckenzee Martin (William Hooper); his great grandchildren, Dawson Shockey, Savannah Shockey and William C Hooper; his cousin Donnie Moffitt (Jane); and his sister-in-law Kay Moffitt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
