With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Leroy Tate of Urbana, Ohio, born in Palmyra, Missouri, who passed away on January 3, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Tate and Pauline Tate (Leffert); his sister Roberta; his parents-in-law, Guy and Beulah Taliaferro; and his sister-in-law Judy Starn.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara J. Tate (Taliaferro); his children, Debra Combs (Scott), Robert "Chris" Tate (Terry), Roy "Chuck" Tate (Tina), Joseph "Joe" Tate (Paula), Jeffery "Jeff" Tate (Denise) and Jason Tate (Kyla); his siblings, Jim Tate (Ruth), Larry Tate (Barb), Carl Tate (Carol), Dennis Tate (Kellie), Lea Vaughn (Larry) and Kathy David (Dan); and his brothers-in-law, David Taliaferro (Linda) and Arnie Starn. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren.
