She was predeceased by: her parents, John D. North and Elizabeth North (Donahue); her husband Joseph D. Kerns; her siblings, Patricia Shockey (Robert), Mary Feather (Howard), Helen Welsh (Joseph), Jack and William North; and her sons-in-law, Brendan Comer and Alan Sundheimer.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Comer of Port Washington, Joan Place (Jim) of Dayton, Mark Kerns of Springfield, John Kerns of Naples, Julie McDaniel (Rod) of Lebanon and Deanna Sundheimer of Urbana, Ohio.; and her grandchildren, Jimmy Place (Connie), Peggy Butze (Eric), Carolyn Heller (Ryan), Katie Becker (Zach), Joe Kerns, Claire McDaniel and Brian McDaniel. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
