He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferman Gail and Gladys Lenora Jacobs (Newland); his wife Betty Jean Jacobs (Wunderley); his daughter Patricia Ann "Pat" Ropp; his brothers, Gail Jacobs (Myrtle) and Jerry Jacobs; his granddaughter Rachel Ropp; his great grandchild Paul Alonzo Smith; his brother-in-law Leon Hengel; his son-in-law Ronald Ropp; and his granddaughter-in-law Carla Ropp.
He is survived by: his children, Omar Jacobs Jr. (Margaret), Garold "Gary" Alan Jacobs, Charles "Chuck" Ferman Jacobs, Irma Ropp and Connie Jean Tobias (Dallas); his son-in-law Nelson Ropp; his sister Irma Hengel; and his sister-in-law Shirley Jacobs. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren.
