It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nelson Ray Ropp (Urbana, Ohio), born in Piqua, Ohio, who passed away on October 29, 2019, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard George Ropp and Laura E. Ropp (Bodey); his wife Patricia Ann Ropp (Jacobs); his siblings, Marian Ropp, Leona Minnich, Sue Holbrook and Elmer Ropp; his daughter-in-law Carla Ropp; his granddaughter Racheal Ropp; and his parents-in-law, Omar and Betty Jacobs Sr. (Wunderley).
He is survived by: his children, Darren Ropp of Urbana, Wendy Smith of Enon and Penny Russell (Paul) of Urbana; his grandchildren, Mary Moser of Bellefontaine and Megann Robinaugh (Brody) of Urbana; his great grandchild Ariane Moser; his pet Remington Robinaugh; and his siblings, Esta Huffman of Urbana, Clara Cupps (Gene) of Lakeview, William Ropp (Cyronda) of Urbana and Edward Ropp of Dayton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
