With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Merrill D. Powell of Urbana, Ohio, who passed away on March 21, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Merrill leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Merrill may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Merrill D. Powell and Mae Burson (Howard). He is survived by: his brother Jeffrey Powell (Bobby Jo); his nephews, Austin Powell (Kate) and Mason Powell; his niece Chelsea Powell; his great-nephews, Liam Powell-Weber and Finn Powell; and his great-niece Juliette Rose Powell.
A graveside service was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM and from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oak Dale Cemetery (319 Patrick Ave, Urbana, OH 43078).
