He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Ropp and Ethel Mae Ropp (Euckard); his son David Lee McKeever Sr.; his granddaughters, Jamie McClendon and Ashley Markley; and his siblings, Margaret McCain, Elmer Jr., Cecil, Leonard, Robert, Donald, Paul and Ronald Ropp.
He is survived by: his wife Florence "Flossie" E. Johnson; his children, Stephanie "Sue" Markley, Elizabeth "Kit" Shuff (Steve), Joyce Nokes (Russell), Heidi Karg (Gene), Marvin Jr., Little Buck and Destiny "Sissy" Byrd (David); and his siblings, Roger Ropp (Patti) and Barbara Jean Ropp. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
