She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Mefford and Inez Mefford (Scott); and her brother Norman Mefford. She is survived by: her husband Dale Schaffer; her children, Tabitha Settle (Brian) and Michael Schaffer (Desirae); her grandchildren, Shai-anne, Layne, Shyla, Selena, Abby, Devin, Brandon and Michael; her brothers, Roger (Linda) and Larry Mefford (Amanda); her sister-in-law Carolyn Mefford; and her close friend Debbie Mefford. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
