With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leilani Marie Beery of Urbana, Ohio, born in Battle Creek, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 7, 2025 at the age of 72. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert W. "Bob" Beery; and her sisters, Zelma Betz and Shirley Dorst (Phillip). She is survived by: her sons, James L. Young of Lima and Shane Young (Annie) of Madisonville, KY; her brothers-in-law, Wesley Beery (Joyce) of Urbana, John Beery (Danielle) of Lima and Larry Beery (Michele Blubaugh) of Bluffton; her nieces, Maggie Cordle of Crooksville, Kathy Addy of Pflugerville, TX and Patty Melton of Pflugerville, TX; her great-nephews, George Hutton (Leanne) of Reynoldsburg and Jesse Hutton of Columbus; and her close friend Becky Williams of Lima. She is also survived by 6 granddaughters.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services - Eastside Chapel (828 Bellefontaine Ave, Lima, OH 45801).
