It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Stokes of Urbana, Ohio, born in Lorain, Ohio, who passed away on December 29, 2021, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Doug Mowrey (Linda); her father-in-law Gene Stokes; and her grandparents, Louis, Margaret Honecy, David and Faye Mowrey.
She is survived by: her husband David Stokes; her daughters, Maya and Mallory Stokes; her mother Jeanne Mowrey (Honecy); her brother Mark Mowrey (Corinne); her nieces, Nora and Cara Mowrey; her mother-in-law Pat Sprague (Don); her brother-in-law Mike Stokes; her nephew Matt Stokes; her sister-in-law Pam Roosa (Ronnie); and her nieces and nephews, Amber Grim, Hayli Karg and Tori Litreal. She is also survived by many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Due to COVID, we were unable to properly celebrate Laura's life at the time of her passing.
