She was predeceased by: her parents, V. L. Thaxton and Cora Thaxton (Russell); her husband Richard "Dick" Neer; her siblings, Leona Summers (Bill), Lela White (Kenneth), Virginia Millice (Chuck), Bobbi, Helen Peterson (Frank), Wayne Thaxton (Geraldine), Wendell Thaxton (Doris) and Harold Thaxton (Loann); and her siblings-in-law, John Neer (Jeanne) and Mary Jane North (Claude).
She is survived by: her children, Vicki Lynn Moore (Clyde), Duane Neer and Kevin Neer (Stacey); her grandchildren, Corey Moore (Kasey), Robin Crilow (Jerel), Kyle Neer (Laurie), Codi Kirker, Molli Neer (Brad Savage), Betsy Flanigan (Daniel) and Maggie Amburgey (Jordan); her great grandchildren, Carrie, Kaitlin, Ciara Crilow, Peyton, Emmie, Parker Moore, Lindey, Nash Neer, Wyatt Hawks, Ella Kirker, Cain, Gabe, Charli Savage, Jaye Amburgey and Brynna; her grandchild Flanigan; her stepgreat-grandchildren, James Grubbs (Hunter), Jordan Grubbs, Kendra Grubbs and Jonah Grubbs; and her great great grandchild Asher Grubbs. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
