He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Anderson and Besse Anderson; and his siblings, Wilbur Anderson, Lester Anderson, Frank Anderson and Donna Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Verna Joan Anderson; his children, Karen Ebel (Douglas), Mark Anderson (Robin) and Philip Anderson (Kathy); his grandchildren, Ian Anderson (Annie), Andrew Jones (Dominique), Nathan Jones and Emily Jones; and his siblings, James Bumgarner (Nancy), Alice Foust, Nellie Outram, Joyce McClure (Fred) and Celesta Venneman.
Memorial contributions may be made in John's memory to the Urbana Methodist Church.
