He was predeceased by: his father John L. Gillfillan; and his grandparents, Walter, Frankie Gillfillan, Herbert Barnes and Mildred Hardman.
He is survived by: his mother Norma Gillfillan (Barnes); his significant other Cathy Rittenhouse DuVall; his significant other's children, Derrick Gibson, Mindy Gibson (Mike Brakeall), Jamie Jacobs (Josh) and Christopher DuVall; his siblings, Jolynn Caven (Dean) and Keith Gillfillan; his nieces, Tara Lynn Gillfillan and Anisa Elizabeth Gillfillan; his nephew Weston Gillfillan (Wendy); his great-nephews, Bradley and Logan; and his pets, Devo and Cora. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Vernon Funeral Home (235 Miami St, Urbana, OH 43078). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Barley Used Pets, 844 Jackson Hill Rd. Urbana.
