John J. Cauley Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John J. Cauley of Urbana, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 28, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bart Cauley and Opal Mae Graves (Green); his son Michael L. Cauley; his siblings, Don Capper (Becky), Bart Cauley, Jr., Robert "Bob" Cauley and Mary Alice Neer (Jerry); his grandson Kelly Joe Searles; and his children-in-law, Jeffery Lammar Haas and Jenny Cauley.
He is survived by: his wife Judy A. Cauley; his children, Darlene Haas, Evelyn K. Searles (Wesley), James Cauley and Ernest E. Cauley; his stepsons, David Hawke, Jr. and Carl Hawke; his grandchildren, Brandon L. Searles (Misty Young), Wesley C. Searles, Kelsey J. Spicer (Josh) and Jordan Haas (Shelbi Henault); his great grandchildren, Madalynn J. Sanders, Patelyn G. Spicer and Reed Spicer; his brothers, Richard Cauley, William Cauley and Tim Cauley; and his half-brothers, Paul Cauley and Danny Cauley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home - West Liberty (101 Zanesfield Rd, West Liberty, OH 43357). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at the Highland Memorial Cemetery (5591 US-68, West Liberty, OH 43357).
