He was predeceased by: his parents, James L. Ballard, Sr. and Margaret Ballard (Randall); and his wife Barbara Ballard. He is survived by: his sister Rebecca Master (Ballard); his nieces, Jennifer Lutz (Larry) and Tammi Mustar; and also, Mark Hackworth (Jami), Paul Hackworth (Lori) and Ken Hackworth (Beth). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 3 great-nieces, 3 great-nephews and 3 great-great nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Champaign County Habitat for Humanity at 1007 N. Main St., Urbana, Ohio 43078.
