He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph "Joe" and Margaret Amy Shaloo (Thompson); his parents-in-law, Edward and Marcella Haemmerle; his brother-in-law Richard Haemmerle; his cousins, David Shaloo, Jack Shaloo, Gerald Woodruff, Jeri Woodruff, Evelyn Woodruff, Bob Woodruff and Dick Spaulding; his aunt Thelma; his uncle Peck Woodruff; and his friend Mike Lorenz.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Shaloo; his daughters, Amy Paul (Dwight), Lynnette Marie Girard (Daniel) and Katherine Shaloo Berg (Christopher); his grandchildren, Alexandra Paul, William Paul, Tyler Girard, Abigail Girard, Caroline Girard, Caden Berg and Mason Berg; and his close friends, David Martin, Hugh Spellman and Larry Smith. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vernon Funeral Home (235 Miami St, Urbana, OH 43078). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (231 Washington Ave, Urbana, OH 43078).
