He was predeceased by: his parents, James Andrew Johnson, Sr. and Mary (Evilsizor); his daughter Makensie; his grandchildren, Ashlie, Kiley and Baby Howard; and his brother Kevin Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon (Price); his children, Peggy (Jay), Howard Jr. Hawkins (Sharon), George Hawkins (Marcia), James Johnson III, Loretta Collins (Chad), Andrew Johnson, Jacob Johnson, Latosha Johnson and Grayson Kelly; his siblings, Daryl Johnson, Gloria Skinner (Lester), Vickie Eubanks (Bud) and Brenda Cutlip (Eldo); and his close friends, Kathleen Kelly and Howard Hawkins, Sr.. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
