He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Oelker and Hazel Oelker (Duncan); his wife Martha Oelker; and his brother Richard. He is survived by: his brother James; his daughters, Susan Bailey (Mark) of Urbana, Sandra L. Oelker Eickholt (John) of Dublin and Carol White (Jeff) of Urbana; and his grandchildren, Shawn Bailey (Meredith) of Columbus, Renae Wainwright (Brian) of Atlanta, Georgia, Amy Louthan (Christopher) of Dublin, Jessica Eickholt Johnson (Brad) of Dublin, Ashley Olivine (Max), Molly Eickholt (Jacob Lilly) of Dublin, Lauren Finney (Doug) of South Charleston, Kristopher Byers (Erica) of Tampa, Florida and Lance White (Julie) of Midway. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Kingscreek United Methodist Church (1362 Kennard-Kingscreek Rd, Urbana, OH 43078). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
