He was predeceased by: his grandson Troy Byrd; and his siblings, Evelyn Scurry, Coralee Byrd, Alfred Wilson, Richard Byrd and James Byrd.
He is survived by: his wife Dimitira (Jones); his daughters, Anjanette Wilson (Kenith "Kenny") of Columbus, OH and Angelique Byrd of Columbus, OH; his grandchildren, Shantelle Wright, Tre Stillgess, Quincy Stillgess, Domnique Byrd, Malacai Byrd, Unique Byrd and Dimitirus Byrd; his great grandchildren, Bernard Wright, Devin Wright, Jade Wright, Marcus Wright, Christian Wright, Alanna Quinn and Grayson Sullivan; and his brothers, Harold Byrd, Lewis Byrd of London, OH and Charles Whitelow of Columbus, OH. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Vernon Funeral Home (235 Miami St, Urbana, OH 43078). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at the same location.
