With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen A Shanks-Morris of Urbana, Ohio, born in Kenton, Ohio, who passed away on November 30, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Thomas Apostle and Theodora Apostle; her children, Karen McKellop (Michael) of Urbana, Anna Criddle (Bill) of Dublin, Ohio and James Johnson of Lawrenceburg, Ind.; her grandchildren, Aaron McKellop (Angela) of Lebanon and Jayme McKellop (Josh O'Donnell) of Chicago, Ill.; her great grandchildren, Alyssa, Abby McKellop, Catherine Helen and Nathaniel O'Donnell; her sister-in-law Ann Apostle; her stepdaughters, Dr. Cindy Morris Nicot and Jennie Ritter; her stepgrandchildren, Rosie, Simon Nicot, Joshua Delk and Zachary Ritter; her friend Sally Johnson; her former husband Carl Shanks; her husband Rudolph "Rudy" Morris; and her siblings, Joanna Zaharako, Paul Apostle, Constantine Apostle and Nicholas Apostle. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
