She was predeceased by: her parents, Loren Shafer and Bertha Shafer (Roach); and her siblings, Lyta Hoffman and Floyd Shafer. She is survived by: her children, Donna Oyer (Dennis), Diana Furrow, Peggy Malone, John Anderson (Carla), Gary Anderson (Kelly) and Dale Anderson (Beth). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 50 great grandchildren; as well as numerous great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vernon Funeral Home (235 Miami St, Urbana, OH 43078). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either the American Heart Association (PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692) or the American Cancer Society (P.O. Box 6704).
