He was loved and cherished by many people including: his great-grandparent George Beery; his grandfather Perry; his aunt Erma; his uncle Audley; his wife Patricia Waliga; his daughters, Clarissa Wiener (Michael) and Rebecca Waliga; his granddaughters, Olivia Wiener, Justine Wiener and Emma Waliga; his siblings, John Beery, Robert Beery (Cathi), Sue Shield (Firok), Sylvia Waliga, Martha Matlock (Thom) and Jay Waliga (Margie); his son Alex Waliga; his parents, Edgar Beery and Stella Waliga; his sister Margaret Beery; and his stepfather John Waliga.
