He was predeceased by: his mother Linda I. Knox (Imel); his brother Bob Knox; his in-laws, Granville Cordell, Pauline Cordell (Davis), Rodger Cordell, Rodney Cordell and Carolyn Kenfield (Cordell); and his niece Erica Lynn Cordell.
He is survived by: his father Gary C. Knox (Eileen); his wife Theresa Elaine Knox (Cordell); his sons, Gary "Tyler" Knox (Shelby) and Joshua Michael Knox (Katelyn); his grandchildren, Tristan, Malanie, Olivia, Iyla and Nevaeh; and his siblings, Ace Knox, Rodney "Rod" Knox (Victor) and Lynette "Jo" Harsh (Patrick). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
