He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Scott and Freida Scott (McGinnis); his wife Betty Jean Scott; and his sons, Robin Scott (Lois) of Jacksonville, FL and Shaun Scott of Atlanta, GA..
He is survived by: his brother Robert I. Scott (Arretta) of Bellefontaine; his children, Brent Scott (Shawn) of Appleton, WI, Kurt Scott of Urbana, Delvin Scott of Springfield, Billy Potter (Donna) of Leander, TX, Chad Potter (Nancy) of Dadeville, AL, Brad Potter (Dawn) of Centerville, OH, Donnie Scott of Bellefontaine, Jayveon Scott of Urbana and LaShelle LeLewis of Las Vegas, NV; his nephew Robert P. Scott of Bellefontaine; and his brother-in-law Richard "Dickie" Bowser of Urbana. He is also survived by two great-nephews; one great-niece; 21 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fredric's grandson, Kai Scott, to offset medical expenses.
