We are sad to announce that on October 25, 2024, at the age of 93, Emma Lou Lyons of Urbana, Ohio, born in Saint Marys, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Cable and Catherine Cable (Meese); her husband Charles Lyons; her daughter-in-law Ella Madge Lyons; her grandson Billy Lyons; and her sister Julianne Grieves (Fred).

She is survived by: her son Richard Lyons; and her grandchildren, Melanie, Darcy Williams (Shane), Shannan Hutchinson (Curt), Angela Bryant and Heidi Lyons (Jarrod Cline). She is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Donations may be made by sharing random acts of kindness and love.

“Dear Rick and Darcy, Your mom became another mother to me over the past many years. She gave me love, encouragement , and inspiration. Her love of Jesus was so evident in her life by her actions and words. She was strong and never, ever, gave in to self pity. She adored you both and all of your families. It is unbelievably sad that I wont be visiting her at her at her home anymore. (Heaven awaits us tho!). Such a huge chunk of my heart hurts for u all, and praying for comfort.”
