He was predeceased by: his parents, David K. Richards and Leona Richards (Vondenhuevel); his wife Elenor J. Richards; and his siblings, Emerson L. Richards and Gloria Lucille Morrow.
He is survived by: his children, David Richards (Patricia), Butch Richards (Lisa), Keith Richards (Richard Votta), Joel Richards (Sandy), Julie Faist and Jan Richards; his grandchildren, Emily Richards, Owen Richards, Jody Richards, Scott Faist, Justin Faist and Jillian Winkler; and his stepgrandchildren, Matt King, Heather King, Abbie Burns, Tyler Burns, Megan Jacobs and Sara Karg. He is also survived by several great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
