He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer and Lucy Dunlavy Sr. (Jenkins); and his brothers, Elmer Dunlavy Jr. and Robert Dunlavy. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann "Pat" Dunlavy (Spellman); his children, Donna Kelty (Daniel) of Vermont, Kathy Dilts (Kenneth) and Ronald Dunlavy of Urbana; his grandchildren, Christopher Kelty, Jennifer Kelty, Brian Dilts, Andrew Dilts, Alan Dilts and Amy Doggett (Kris); his great grandchildren, Myah Brown, Bella Stevens, Emmi Stevens, Brady Dilts and Baileigh Doggett; and his siblings, Paul Dunlavy (Roger), Joann Wood, Danny Dunlavy (Shirley) of Urbana and Linda McClain of Bellefontaine.
