He was predeceased by: his parents, David Edgar Moody II and Martha Fraley (Joe); his brother Melvin McGill (Peanut); his grandparents, Edgar, Carrie Moody, Milium Frazier and Fay Cochran; his uncles, Roger Frazier and Melvin Holycross; and his close friend Carolyn McGranhan.
He is survived by: his spouse Robin Moody (Harrington); his daughters, Gaynell Hillard (Nathan), Brandi Nichols (Ernie) and Martha Moody; his grandchildren, Austin Hillard, Levi Hillard, Kendra Baccus, Kaitlyn Nichols, James Nichols Jr. and Kaiden Baccus; his sister Carrie Mack (Charles); his nieces, Donna Wilkie and Mackenzie McGill; his close friends, Mark Cooper and Eddie McGranhan; and his aunts, Gracie Holycross and Bonnie Crosier.
